How we work together for Health
We usually work face to face during one hour sessions at Wise Steps in Buckingham or Bay Tree Health in Stony Stratford. Caroline also provides telephone sessions for those unable to travel or who live abroad. For housebound or bedbound clients a limited number of home visits may be offered, depending on the clients' symptoms, situation and location.
In session 1, Caroline completes a registration form, explains the psychobiology of the client's symptoms, introduces the client to Bodymind tuning and then investigates the message the client's body has been trying to express through the illness. Clients complete the session with additional messages and tools to support them back in their daily lives.
After session 1, clients have the opportunity to work with their body message and discover how effectively they can reduce their symptoms. They will also decide if they are ready to commit to their maximum potential health.
Further sessions include fine tuning of the message and re-creating a more fulfilling life. Clients learn how to quieten their over active thinking mind and make decisions using their emotional intelligence or body wisdom.
How we work together for Work
Those returning to work after a long period of sickness, or who have been made redundant, can choose to attend either one to one sessions or a small group workshop. Telephone sessions provide those with travel difficulties the opportunity to explore their career drivers. Clients are invited to complete a career questionnaire which we then analyse together.
Some of the standard career services of guidance in job search, letter writing, CV design, interviews and decision making are also available. Wise Steps for Work offer one to one, small groups and workshops for companies undergoing organisational change.
How we work together for Life Balance
Life Balance is a key requirement for health. Caroline provides individual sessions that are face to face or telephone and group workshops for organisations wanting to reduce stress in the workplace and increase health and wellbeing. A good measure of how healthy a company is, is to look at the sickness record. Wise Steps works with organisations committed to putting balance and fun back into the workplace to ensure healthy employees are able to support the business easily and effectively.

In general terms we prefer not to do home visits, as it is ideal for clients to come away from their current situation in order to be objective. There are however, the odd case where this is impossible. In these cases we carry out an assessment and then agree a limited number of visits.
"I had been bedbound for 2 years and Caroline did 3 home visits then I went to see her. During the first visit I was in bed, the 2nd I was dressed and sitting on the bed, and the 3rd I was dressed and sitting in the lounge" says Zoe.
Telephone work is ideal for those who either live far away or are unable to get to Wise Steps. The appointment time and date are agreed, and the client is given a telephone number to ring on the day. Providing the client and practitioner feel comfortable working on the telephone this can be an extremely effective way of working. Telephone support can also be set up with face to face clients who are travelling or who have reached the stage where they require shorter sessions.
